I rant a lot, whether it be about RL, or fandoms. I am strongly opinionated about particular subjects. I... uh went to college x'D, and from there, I did so so so many more things I have never done before.

02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I had any resolution this year, and I probably won't make any for next year.

Nope.


04. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

05. What countries did you visit?
None .__., although my mother kept on promising to let me go back to Vietnam.


06. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Money, a part-time job, more financial aids. Mainly a better financial situation.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
No specific dates, but I had a lot of good memories from 2009.

08. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Transitioning into college life without completely breaking down and become insane :D

09. What was your biggest failure?
Spending so much money for the sake of "fun" with my friends. Although I don't regret our time together!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Random colds now and then.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I'm not sure for the entire year, but recently, I got an adorable dress for a really good price.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Kathy! - for sharing her love life with me in the time of my nonexistent love life.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Honestly? Kanye West x'D. I really fail at life.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food and shopping.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Summer break >:D (which is quite far away from now)

Any song Glee Cast covered. And Jordin Sparks' BattleField.

17. Compared to this time last year, you are:
More mature. I mean, I'm handling my spendings, apartment rents, chores, studies, etc. all by myself without any reminders, guidances, etc. I still act like a 12-year-old most of the time though.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Join more clubs, hang out more with my friends.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Reckless spendings, and freaking out about everything.

20. How will you be spending/did you spend Christmas?
With family, and occassionally going out with my friends.

So many things. But a Wii is a starter ;/

Up. Pixar's greatest animation up 'til now in my opinion. The animation, the plot, the moral, the characters, etc. were flawless. I watched it 3 times already and I would watch it 100 more times and won't be bored. There are so much to digest in that movie.


31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
18! A few days earlier, my friends came over and made me a birthday cake.


32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More parties, less creeps at said parties.


33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
I started to like loose clothings. Other than that, I dress the same, if not more mature.

34. What kept you sane?
2PM, Glee, my roommates (well, sometimes they become insane with me... depends on the situation), friends, family, etc.

Uhm, haha, I haven't really played recent video games, but I still do quite enjoy FFA Tactics A2.

Probably my friends.

Phuc ;(. He went so far away for college. At least he's back for now!

38. Who was the best new person you met?
My lab partner and my Japanese friend. And all my apartment's mates.

Being overly cautious is not necessarily a bad thing.

So I watched that xbillion times to celebrate finishing my Calculus Final x'D
(I can't believe I have never seen that until now...)
This is officially my 2nd favorite cover of 2PM (behind G.O.D's Friday Night Cover).



On the Calculus Final,
What the eff professor, what the eff?
It's nothing I don't know. I reviewed the materials like twice the day before. What was annoying about the test was not its difficulty, but the tedious work involved in each effin' problem. I thought the point of final was to test if you know the materials, not whether you can take that knowledge and do long-as-hell problems...
I had to apply quotient rule to a very long and annoying equation, then find the extrema, concavity, ASSYMPTOTES, then sketch the damn thing. I swear the problem took me half an hour, just checking, re-checking, re-checked again to make sure I did the quotient rule right.
Please please please don't challenge us when our grades depend on it! Because the entire test was not meant to test our comprehension and knowledge, but to challenge us.

Thank god for partial credits...

In the case of 2PM's new song!



On the first listen, I was a bit disappointed to find it so auto-tune and mechanical, and how it strays from the soft and slow melody of the teaser. It didn't have the immediate effect on me like Again and Again did.
But after the 2nd and 3rd listen to it, it grew on me. Now I'm totally addicted. Can't wait for their comeback!

What the eff? The more I listen to the song, the more depressed I become. I wonder if it's because my cold, or because this song is really that depressing....

I can honestly listen to that x100 times and still wouldn't be bored. Wooyoung's voice is lovely, and I'm so glad to be able to hear him so well in a teaser. A teaser, not even the original yet, and I'm already so hyped up.
The short teaser lyrics are a bit melancholy and the melody sounds pleasant. I really can't wait for the whole song.

While the Jaebum's situation remains questionable, I know I will support and buy 2PM's new album regardless of this. I've always stood against the statement that 7 - 1 = 0. There is a big difference between 7 = 1 and 7 - 1 = 0. The latter suggests that the 6 remaining members are nothing without Jaebum. While I think Jaebum is an indispensable part of 2PM, I also admire and respect the rest of the members enough to continue to support them.

I hope other fans can do that too, regardless of Jaebum's return.

Snog, shag, marry, cliff game! Characters given to me by kiwipunch are Gokudera, Yamamoto, Hibari and Mukuro

Snog: Hibari. Because I do like him as a character, but not enough to list under Shag or Marry. Although his badass-ness is cool, I think I'd rather recommend him a shrink or anger management rather than date him...

Shag: Mukuro~ Hmmm, he's my second favorite character in the series after all. The reason why he's not under "marry" is because... well, he's a bit of a flashy character. It'd be a little weird having a spouse with hair longer than yours. Plus, with his characteristics, he most likely would be a player. So shagging it is!

Marry: Yamamoto! If he exists in real life, I'm pretty sure he's just my type. His personality would suit with mine, as I like a whipped, but assertive kind of guy. While he's playful and funny, he's also loyal and makes a good companion. God that sounds like an ad... But really, his personality would make him a good prospective spouse.

Cliff: Gokudera. 8'( It's not that I dislike him. He makes an interesting character, but I never paid him much attention compared to the characters given to me for this meme. No hard feeling~

2 to 3 more days with the family until I'm heading down to Davis. I'm already dreading the day... I'm not IN college yet and I'm already stressing with all the bills, the registration, the book ordering, dealing with financial aids and the packing! The PACKING...
Packing makes me feel so depressed. I just settled into my new house not 4, 5 months ago and now I'm packing again to leave T___T.
My sister doesn't help by saying things like, "The house will be so empty without you". Like I don't know that! I've always been so comfortable at home, why did I not pick SJSU?!!??


That aside, I've finished packing
- Clothes. With the exception of underwears. I'll bag those last minute.
- School supplies, which aren't much.
- Toiletries. Phew. I just need to go buy some body sprays and I'm good.

I realized I don't have that much clothes... It's depressing.

I should've shopped more when I had the chance.

One thing that I won't have at college is my desktop, which means no PS, no OC, no tablet... Which means more traditional drawing I suppose. So I've been spending my last days trying to salvage any unfinished drawings.

♦ I'm loving this drama way too much for all the wrong (or right, I'm not sure anymore) reason:
Kim Sang Bum
You know you're hooked when you start drooling at his pictures (STILL PICTURES!) and spazz like a crazy person everytime he appears in the drama... It's not healthy 8(

I even went so far as to watch Unstoppable High Kick and Gosa just to see him. Ew, I smell like obsession.
I hate scary movies, but I watched Gosa anyways, just to see Kim Bum died.

I don't regret watching High Kick though. Despite his little appearance in the subbed episodes, I really like the sitcom. Made me fell in love with Kim Hye Sung 8'D

♦ Saw Boy Meets Boy (yaay, Kim Hye Sung), a 13 minutes, implied boyxboy romance movie. There were parts that made me go "What the puck?".

Admittedly, the movie is cute and well-made, utilizing no dialogue but relying on the actors' emotions and acting skills. BUT, I thought the plot could have been fine without the randomness of the singing fairy...

♦ I got admitted to UC Riverside. And for a few weeks I thought I was doomed and that no school would admit a dumbass like me.. 8'd Lolzlolz, now I feel giddy

♦ Extended Essay on Thursday. I'm taking Monday off to do my research. I'll be my first time skipping school, how exciting... If I had my way, I would've ditched school 4 days a week.
